Independent Lens 2008 Fall Promos
A new season of Independent Lens and my sixth season doing on-air promotions for ITVS. Here's a look at what's coming this season in eight :30 second promos that I wrote, produced and edited.

The SERIES PROMO is always the biggest challenge. Reviewing 30 films and thousands of shots to come up with a :30 second image spot that reflects the best of the new season.
ADJUST YOUR COLOR, possibly my favorite film of the season. A tribute to the irrepressible Petey Greene.
OUR DISAPPEARED, the filmmaker googled an old girlfriend and found himself entangled in the history of Argentina's dirty war.
RECYCLE, a quiet, fascinating film about everyday life in Jordan, in a town that is a hotbed of religious fundamentalism.
STEAL A PENCIL FOR ME, a sweet, sweet film about love.
WINGS OF DEFEAT :30, fascinating film about Kamikazes.
WONDERS ARE MANY, when I grow up I want to be as good a filmmaker as Jon Else and as good an editor as Debbie Hoffman. I bow at the altar of these two great filmmakers!
